Sweet!
Questions:
Do you have a test animation to show too?
Modeled in C4D?
What´s the story?
Only crit/nitpick: you could have spent 10 more minutes on the boots.

lookin' great to me!:applause: just pend some more time on texturing. for example the metal looks to clean, add some more scratches and dirt to it, the clothes also seem to be almost brandnew. and plz give us a short animation preview, would love to see them in motion!

The whole thing is modelled and animated in C4D. Other programs/plugs I'm using are Shave, Photoshop and Aftereffects.
(there is no hair in this pic because I wait for shave 2....there's still some stuff that I think is easier to fix with the hair using shave 2)
You are right. the boots of the big guy aren't perfect, but they will be standing in the grass when they fight, so it's no biggie imho.
the textures, yes, I want to change a few parts, the skins are not perfect, and yes, the metal could be better. I still need to learn some texturing, definitely not my strongest skill. But then again I want to give the piece a "shrek-ish" look.
The story...quick summary: two not very handsome guys fight for a princess who mistakenly thinks one of them is the handsome guy writing her a love letter. But I don't want to give away more :)
About animation samples....I will post them when I think they are ready. I'm currently working on the fight sequence and would like to post them as a whole, so the shots make sense.

Nice job! Can't wait for the animations.
I like the storyline idea already, look forward to seeing how this progresses :)
Great potential. Is this a purely personal project or are you collabarating with other people on it.
it looks like a winner.

I'm going for a look like in the movie Shrek.
And yes, it's a personal project...actually it started as a thesis work, but it soon became quite complex so I'm finishing it now and then use it to apply for a job.
I might need some help with some music and sound effects though.
