Title: The Idea Machine
Name: Hugo Diego
Country: France
Software: Maxwell Render, Maya, Photoshop

This is a image I created for the Steampunk challenge.

The story regarding this image is the following.

This image is based on the legend of James T. Punk and the myth of the Idea machine.
The story goes, that in 1708, a brilliant inventor named james T. Punk, created a machine capable of creative ideas that had the appearance of a human being.

The steam would push a piston, that would in turn power a main gear inside the head.
Then by carefully transferring power thru a main shaft. Secondary gears could power electric generators, that produced electrical impulses.
He developed a memory machine that he incorporated at the back of the head, that possessed images, objects, colors, emotions & moods that where place in a jello type substance.
The memory 2000 as he called it, would pulse electrical current thru the jello, and a idea would appear.
To indicate that the process was complete, he though of many ways to mark the moment.
Bels & Whistles where annoying, so he decided to use a simple lightbulb.

So, the incorporated image, is a rare glimpse of what the inside of this fabulous invention looks like.

This invention, was called the Steampunk.

In honor of his inventor.
