I have seen some talented 3d modelers on the site that have made some incredible cartoon characters. I noticed that the eyes on some models are not perfect spheres but seemed to be deformed into some type of oval shape.
My question is are the eyes modeled as perfect spheres then deformed into an oval shape using some type of modifier (which allows the eyes to revert back to a perfect sphere) or are the eyes modeled permanently as a deformed oval shape? Also, are any there any good free tutorials on how to do this?
