Hi flashlevel,
2 way for help you:
1. Put each single spline in a extrude Nurbs ( exN->path 1; exN->path2; etc..)
2. Select each path ant go to Fonction > connect. A new path will be created (that include all your 4 path) then exN -> 'This connected new path' and voilą`u got it.
nice day

PS: nice logo !

U do not need to connect anything, just drop the logo2 group into an extrude nurbs, than check hierarcical under the object attribute

Yep..need to extrude each object. It seems as if C4D ignores AI's combine function. Also, for the purpose of being organized...set the path centered to default 0,0, in illustrator. That translates to center in C4D.
Good luck.
here is how I set up all my vector imports...hope you don't mind.
peace

In this tab u will find hierarchical, it is perfect to extrude a lot of splines together, no need to do any hocuspocus
