Hello. I´m making this model here. I started using nurbs wich worked out fine until I tryed rigging the sucker. I am now converting to polys and would really like the model to be one surface. I have not idea how to do this http://www.spliffrichards.com/post/mayamerge.jpg I want to merge these edges, any helpers?

if the merge edge tool make crazy results , use the "conform normals" tool

merging 2 edge from face that have opposite normals dont work good (sometimes nurbs surf normals arent generated the same direction each time); like this :

so you have to conform the normal to put all in the same "side"

hi bunny2

just do this
select the 2 vers or all the ones you want merged, and merge verticies, just do it on a setting so they will snap. if you select all and they all snap to eachother just lower the settings. with a space that big, i doubt your going to have to select only a fwe at a time. but thats the fastest way.

just to make sure you know.....
you have to select both objects and do
Polygons/Combine first! (this combines the 2 objects into one object)
you can then sew them together using
Edit Polygons/Merge Vertices
but yeah good idea to make sure your normals are all going the right direction.
