Title: Pirate
Name: Claudio Beck
Country: Brazil
Software: Photoshop

This is a Pirate I did in Photoshop using Aiptek tablet.

Inspiration came from an italian Drawing Book called "Ritratti" di Vinciana Editrici.

Since itīs my first time sharing my artworks, I would love to get feedback. C&C are welcome.

Also, I must say, this is my first decent 2D image since I bought and tried for the first time using a tablet, last week. Thanks.

Well, 18 views and no one would comment.

I was hoping to get some feedback so I can improve on my next paintings, since people around here only say "very good", and "very good" is getting me nowhere.

for the fact that this is your first serious painting with tablet it turned out pretty good!
it's hard to say what could be better, because you have your style...but i would have added more dark to the area between the eyes and the nose and under his chin. it would become more depth i think. and the eyes look a little "dead" because there is also a little contrast missing.
hope my suggestions where helpful...

have a nice day!

thanks for commenting.
On my next artwork I will pay more attention to contrasting.

It looks great! I especially like the colors moved in and about his face as well as his crows feet, but you have to move past the neck now and give us another piece.

cool stuff for your first major piece on the tablet. I think the ears might need to be placed a little higher on the head and more attached. Also they kinda lack the pop that the rest of the face has, not enough hard contrast (lines, shading) and highlights imo.

keep it going! (http://forums.cgsociety.org/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=0#)
