This is an issue that I have sent to Maxon tech support, but have had no response on, so I am appealing to any Wacom Graphire using Cinemites!

When using my Wacom Graphire tablet (I have enabled in the preferences of Cinema) the standard button on the pen that is allocated for a right mouse click works fine in all windows of Cinema execpt for the View windows. It even works on the top part of the window used to undock. Of course there should be a context sensitive popup dialog when I right click(works fine on my normal mouse and the mouse that works on the wacom tablet).

The right click for the pen works perfectly in all other parts of Cinema and every other program I use. Since I use a pen for everything, it is frustrating to not have this work in Cinema! Is this a known bug or is there a solution?

I am using the latest version of Cinema (8.1) with the original Graphire (not v2) running Win2000 on a 1.2 ghz Athlon.

Any help would be much appreciated!!! Cheers guys...

this is an old and wel known bug, if your very very careful not to move when right clicking it will in fact work, but thats a pain,so maxn has mapped it so that V will serve as the right click. not the best way, ubt they just don't seem able to fix the bug :/

Cheers Kaiskai..that has cleared things up for me, as I was blaming it on insanity :hmm: Tis a strange bug though, as after using the v hotkey a few times, the right click on the pen started to work....and then not work...oh well.

If I can ask another quick question about modelling in Cinema, being a newbie and all. When tweaking vertices/edges/faces, it seems that in C4d you have to to click once to select it and then click again as you move it. I am used to other apps where I can select and drag with one click, which is obviously half the work! Is there an option or plugin that will facilitate this in Cinema?

Cheers

only works on verticies, but select the magnet tool and set its tolerance to 0

The common workaround is to use the magnet tool instead of the move tool. Just select all points/edges/faces and set the diameter of the magnet tool to 0 and the mode to "nearest point method".

It's been suggested to Maxon that the default behavior for the move tool should be changed, if that's any consolation.

Go to your prefs, then on the first page, turn off hi-res coordinates. This will make right clicking much easier.
