Render sizes limited to 800x600 without watermark for the first 30 days
after that unlimited render size but with really obnoxious watermark.

And is 8 core processing supported?? The Beta and Easel have only 2 core processing.

Cool!

hhmmm, the ple seems to use only 1 core, at least it does on my pc... can someone else confirm this?

My copy of the PLE says "8 CPU" at the bottom, although it takes a REALLY long time to render just a sky. I'm on a dual quad core 2.8 Xeon, 6GB RAM.

I'm not sure if the PLE is single threaded render, or if it's just that slow.

task manager says only 25% of the system (quadcore) are used during rendering... maybe there's a switch to enable multi-threading?

can you create and render populations in Maya like the demo youtube video with them showing max? I downloaded the PLE but can't see how to add ecosystems or populations of trees. All it seems to offer is adding a tree (plant) at a time.
