is there a possible way to turn off all the materials for rendering and use just a grey shader for all objects withoud deleting all the materials. i know there is a way to render objects withoud the textures, but how can i turn off the materials no matter what kind they are?

waiting for reply...
thnx

does it have something to do with multi-pass rendering?

your only option looks to be just to disable textures. Or you could mess around with Cel shader.

You can simply copy the scene and delete the materials in the copy.
If you you only play with lights and camera in the copy, its works fine (specially if you place all lights unde the same null). Once you're happy with lights and cameraangle, you simply copy and paste camera and lights back to the original scene.
