hi Svetlana,
do you go/ or have you any opportunity to go to any art course/school?
your digital painting/Photoshop skills seem to be pretty good -
and - if you had any chance of how to improve your own style/drawing skills a bit too,
I am sure you could do really nice works ..
did you try - for example - to draw your own ornametns? or - some life drawings?
I am sure you could do it too, and - I´d be curious about :)

Alena, thanks for your words.
The reason why I am here is to try to improve my skills. During last four years I was visiting The City Art Shool, but that shool looks like hobby class for adult. What did we do there? We drew still lifes with pencils or goauche and drew parts of head. With time I understood that I learned there all what I could.
There is The Academy of Design and Art for young students here, but it is a full time education with lots of additional and general subject, which have nothing to do with drawing and painting. And I don't need them.
If you know something about soviet education system, you'll understand me better.
All what I can do in digital painting is a result of self-education. And, to my mind, this process is so slow.:)
It is difficult for me to draw someting my own or from my mind, I need references.
So, I am here and follow Rebecca's advices and lessons.
Hi!
Nice digital work.
Any traditional drawings/paintings?
Would love to see those :)

Hi..Svetlana..:)
GREAT start to your thread so far..
I read that you would like to, but are having trouble doing figures, heads ect. from your own imagination, and can't find anyone in your area to teach you how to do it.
There are some GREAT books by a GREAT master at creating figures, heads, ect from imagination..You can buy them on the internet.
His name is Burne Hogarth..He has a GREAT method of teaching how to do what you are seeking to learn how to do..FIGURE CREATION.
Check him out, and get his books if you feel like it, you will never regret it..:)
DYNAMIC FIGURE DRAWING by Burne Hogarth is my favorite..Lots and lots of secrets to the fine art of FIGURE CREATION in that book,..Proven methods that were and are all used by the GREAT MASTERS.Past and Present..:)
Looking forward to seeing more of your work and progress..

Hi, Glenn.
Thank you for advice. I appreciate your help.
I know about Burne Hogarth. I like his books. But I looked them through.
And I'll try to read his book more carefully, than I did it before.

Wow, my favorite of yours is head003. For the hand study, the cast shadow of the index finger makes the middle finger look really skinny. I'm not sure why tho. =(
