View Full Version : buggy rig
Zoogie 06-26-2003, 05:07 PM I have this little mannequin rig. Just the basic mannequin from cinema. I tried to modify it by adding goals so I can easily animate it without going deep into the heirarchy. The rig is real temperamental. The feet for instance "shiver" :) and there is a lot of jumping around. What am I missing?

Have you messed with the damping on the joints? Sometime you have to hike them up to about 40% to get rid of any residual jitter.
I haven't looked at your rig yet. I 'll check it out this afternoon.

Thanks Stray,
I will play with the damping and see what happens. I just thought I was doing something really wrong.
Flingster: Thanks for the suggestion , the reaseon I was starting a new thread was because I thought it might get missed if I placed it in the other thread.
Thanks guys.
