this is my music video I´v been making for KMFDM band. It´s for their song "skurk" from ATTACK album. I used ex-member Tim Skold who´s now with Marylin Manson as a reference for the main character. The work began on Jan 2002.

Now that was one psychedelic clip!

Very fun to watch :)

The track was not bad either but maybe there is too many sound effects in use.. those kinda distracts the listener from the track itself.

I'm going to be honest and I hope it doesn't come across as harsh. This video would be great if you spent more time on some lighting, got rid of the stupid game sound effects (which ruins the whole thing) completely and just let the music play, and worked on the lip syncing. But right now it's not doing anything for me. I think you've got yourself a great little thing going. You just need to do some tweaking, it's a great effort, i'm just a little confused as to why you felt you needed to add the sound effects. Keep up the good work.:thumbsup: And I hope I didn't come across to harshly.:shrug:

thanx for your replies. Well the sound effects are the most ´try out´ thing, few people have felt it´s not fitting somehow.

I´ m working on it, thanx for critique both of you.

I think the soundeffects was hilarious...i guess the video story is supposed to be somewhat funny, right? Then the effects adds extra funniness to it, reduce the quantity of sound effects though, get rid of some of them! Godd job on the animation, stuff keeps coming and you have a great flow in the video...the lipsync could be better i guess, and the lighting...that's about it!!

I was out for few days, so I´m reacting now.

thanx for critique from Sweden torbjorn. Yes the video is supposed to be funny and it should be a ride through various envionments from my head. :)
There is more to come this month, I´ll be adding three more environments. Basicaly it´s against politicians, money, pop-culture and fast-food restaurants. That´s what I think this song is about.

next wersions for cgtalk will be also smaller, I guess 15 MB and 25 MB, I think many people don´t want to wait for downloading, so they don´t see it at all.
