Title: snowcats (nudity)
Name: Del Melchionda
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop
This is an image I started a few months back. Illness kept me from completing it, but in the past few weeks I've regained some hope and energy and finished it.
Trying to show the bond/connection between the lynx and the man/cat, and make a soft snowy scene too...
Photoshop CS2 all the way -

I saw this on your epilogue page! I love it, and specially the nudity. Drawing people naked is kinda fulfulling for some reason....
very nice. love the skintones and fur, quite enchanting.

thanks Ksenia - I had the best time working on the fur and skin! :)
thanks acb12!
thanks fiona - I'm strange that way, I totally prefer to paint skin than cloth, it's so much more alive. But then there's that whole nudity thing :)
Thanks Scoo! :)
Thanks bradyscott - heh heh, he never gets cold :)
Thank you Rosethorn - glad you like the kitty!

Great job Del!! :) Very beautiful painting. I think you've captured a snow scene very well. I've been thinking about doing one for the past couple of months but I'm not sure I'm up to the challenge yet. I like what you did to draw a connection between the cat and the man. I'm a total cat person (one of my cats is a crazy Bengal - asian leopard crossbreed). Keep your fantastic artwork coming, dont let anything slow you down.

David

Very nice work :). The idea and execution here (and in many of your other works, now that I'm looking at them) are both simply fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more!
