CGTalk - 2d artist mags..

Hi, im new here and im kinda interested in digital art, not really into 3d things... But im a complete beginner and don't know where to start off, any good tutorials? And what i wanted to ask is what is the best 2d artist mag which has best tutorials.

ImagineFX is a good one. Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop both have their own magazines too, so if you want software specific ones, you can also get those. There are so many good tutorials online as well--most are for free. There are also some books--you can start with d'Artiste: Digital Painting. Also check out Don Seegmillers books.

I strongly suggest you look at the non-digital 2D instructional books as well, as some are excellent and teaches very important foundation knowledge that none of the digital 2D books teach (at least I haven't seen one yet). Look at the sticky threads in this forum--some books are suggested.
