Hi everyone,
this is my latest WIP, a montage of different pieces and techniques. I did the outlines on papers, the elements have been scissored together from different times. The monk and the knight below was done in Photoshop some time ago. The trubadur on the left is a separate piece.
Post is done in Photoshop.
Lately I try to return to traditional mediums and tools as it feels more natural.
I used large stone and paper textures with blendings to achieve the old, wore-off look.
I want to have more women in the picture and a big roasted pig carried by the personnel.

Comments and critics are welcome!

I really love the mood and your style. I feel that most of today's cg art is more or less just copies of itself so it's lovely to see a spark of difference in the crowd. You have succeeded well to create a medieval look and feeling.. I love it!

Then to critics. The picture seems to be leaning to the right and needs some balancing (the ceiling and the table do create a perspective but the lines that they create need to be cut someway). Otherwise they just lead the eye out of the picture. My eyes keep going to the right side... and there's just less to see there.

But... as a critique to my ctirique - I really like the umbalancing effect. It creates a mood of chaos. Perhaps you could somehow strengthen the right side to make the scene stand up straight.

Thanks Katja, good points you have there!
Yes it is chaothic. And the perspective is crap. But the folk is happy! There's good wine, beer and roasted beef, mutton, chicken everything. Sausages. Blood sausage, sausage with liver and chorizo. And there's cooked, smoked pork, and mjöd, Simaa. And lots of wine. Wine is everywhere. I'm not being in the mood right now to change everything according to your obervation, but I keep it in my mind for the next project. So once again thank you!
