hey man, looks really interesting.. I am a bit confused by the legs in the sketch, but otherwise its really coming along nicely.

Id like to see more attachments to the seperate parts, like wires and hydraulics and such. undeneath his body in those holes...

Mess looks clean thi..oh the top thing seems really thing, but im not sure what that going to be (willa fin be growing out of it? if so the thinness is fine) right now it almost looks like a gun...an organic gun.

anyways yeah just wanted to chime in and say I like the character and point out a few things.

well king i completely changed the back spikes...
as for attachments i think i will add those in when i rough out his pose so i dont have to rig all the attachments ;)
i would also like ideas on how you guys would connect the 2 shoulder pads at the top....
now another update

hey chi whats up, i like this so far. i would like to see the spikes smaller like in the concept, and maybe give them a little more of a shape that just a spike, because the rest of the model is looking very organically mechanical if that makes sense. same for the shoulder pad things.

I like the model, hate the legs.

since the legs in the sketch are almost undefined blobs, I'd suggest looking at some close up insect pictures. Find somethign you like, use it as reference and do exactly that.

i dont know if this is totally an original idea or what, but i agree the legs dont do anything for me. i would like to see them come up much higher, making this guy more spider like. bring them back a bit to so it looks almost like hes forward heavy, as he moves forward. lookin cool tho.

the legs don't work for me either, the balance doesn't seem right. It looks like one well place knock on the head, and it would topple over.
