hello,
so i'm about to install stitch.
as it comes to version selection, the installer asks me about installing stitch (3ds max 5) with SIMD or not.
there is some information about SIMD included, but the text is not complete. i read that SIMD is some tuning for intel pentium 3 and 4 processors. thena sentence begins with the words: "make sure..." maybe there is something important to know missing.
furthermore these alternative dlls will take advantage of MMX and SIMD extensions.
my problem is now: i have a dual amd mp 2000+ system, so p4 support is useless or even creating failures. otherwise i think amd processors do have mmx support.
so finally, shall i install stitch with or without SIMD? :shrug:
