View Full Version : Color Calibration Test (please view this and give input)
singularity2006 06-25-2003, 10:33 AM Okay, I've always wondered what solutions people have created to address the issue of varying color callibrations of monitors that view someone's work. From the image below, what can you say about colors? Too red, too washed out, too gray? I'm curious to know how wide the distribution is for color callibration. And if u have any tips about getting the colors in such a fashion that it won't matter how something is callibrated, please do share.

well it looks just fine on my setup...but one thing is that i don't think this pic is suitable for such a kind of job because of the blur....

yeah, I don't have anything really suitable. I just picked the image I created from my collection that had the worst color variation from system to system. TAke for example:
my PC: image looks fine
my laptop: looks very light and washed out, very noticably washed out
in my work cubicle workstation: way too red
in my teacher's classroom: green? yeah..
what do u folks see?

I guess if you asked me I would say it is a teeny bit red and slightly washed out. I don't know what it is intended to look like though... ? so it's hard to say. I like it regardless.

it's supposed to have a more bluish tone to it with a higher contrast.... I'm just curious to see what range of colors other folks see with their own monitors.

I think the colors look just right on my screen. If anything I'd say it has a tiny bit more red than any other colors in it, but I like the effect it adds to it.
