I like what I'm seeing here - its looking good so far. I don't think my knowledge of anatomy stretches far enough to give you any quality crits over what you've got here. One thing that does bother me though is the shape of the arms. With the bicep facing the front as you have it now shouldn't the forearm be a little twisted round. I'm having great difficulty trying to get my arm to do what your character arm is doing. And maybe you need a bit more defined elbows. Hopefully that's a help - as I say, my knowledge of anatomy isn't that great but just from an observational point of view, thats what sticks out for me. Shoulders seem a bit angular as well?

It's a good start but I suggest you go to the mirror and look at your own body even if it is very different from the one you are making.....look at how the shoulders and biceps actually 'work' then look at the rest. :)

mmm.... allow me a question. what do you want to obtain from this model? if you want to model a nice chest i suggest you to download a low poly model from the net and use it as track for your own man.
is how a lot of us begun, i bet...
but maybe this is something different, a job made of many steps, increasing the quality thanx to the observation of your own body, chest, arms, hands, muscles, fingers, and transferring all new anatomy knowledge to the model.
this, i dare to call it "learning".
keep on looking to the people around you and try catching all the small things you can find. will notice a sensible improvement of your 3D job.
good luck

ps... a bit les blobby ;)

Thanks for your feedback guys.
Xynaria/Fallen Swordsman: You guys are right. I should observe my body's joints, etc closer and then make the apropriate adjustments. The forearm should bend forward if the bicep is forward. This I will change right away.
golem: What I'm trying to achieve with this model is learning. It's a great idea to download a low poly and use it as a reference. Perhaps I'll use that. Maybe I may also photograph a male body and use it as a background , front and side view.
Thanks for the guidance.
