As a Graduated student from the Centre NAD in montreal, we had a few courses on concept art. One of the First courses was about a small contest / challenge given by Eidos, where we we're given a few concept artworks done by Barontieri (Thierry Doizon) and we were supposed to do Paintovers with them. A few were random shapes, others we're line works, this piece here was a pure random shape, it didn't look like much but in only a couple of hours i managed to get a ship being blown up. (my first actual concept painting done)
