View Full Version : How to build perfect cube in 2 points perspectives

I'm having an hard time to find the answer to this question that may be simple for some of you.

I want to find a way to draw a perfect square in perspective. I got the solution for those square defined with the 2 VP lines. But I can't find out about the squares that share a edge with the vertical line. With that perfect square, I'll then be able to build my perfect projected cube.

I would appreciate of someone could give me a simple method to find where to exactly place my green line in the attached picture.

From my understanding, its easier with 3 points perspective because there is a convergence of the vertical lines. You can then use their center points as a tool to find the exact edge height of the "perfect" square. Here is an example.
