Hello,

I'm currently studying Shake and Nuke to add to my composition repertory, not aware of the entire limitation of either packages as yet.

Perhaps this question is already a possibility in either package.

How do I (or suggest a good tutorial) control frame rate speed without choppyness, so I can slow the action down at my leisure?

Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKc7PLpeVAQ&feature=related

Any advice is appreciated
Regards

You can use optical flow for that, but it's not that intuitive and artifacts can occure. The example you gave is probably rendered with a high framerate and retimed in a nle.
If you choose to go and try the optical flow way, you have go to the Timing tab of your source in-node , and choose Remap under reTiming. Change your retimeMode to Adaptive and start playing with the curve. Good Luck!
