I had an idea for a prison in hell where the damned souls are herded towards an organic, fleshy gash in a vertical rock face, where they will be consumed and added to the great mass of flesh beneath the stony landscape.
I haven't really worked out the lore fully, but I thought it was sort of cool :P

Done in Photoshop with textures and hand-painting.

This is a great image, I really like the sharp play in contrasts and the image. I took a closer look at the image and can see all the strokes, great job!

Wonderful job!

I think it would be great to have a little more details on the people since the rocks look more detailed than the humans. Just a little touch of a brush might help :p

I like the idea of the image and its execution! Keep it up!!!

Great pic!
One cool detail that cought my eye is the the little passage in the clouds!
Its like god is having a peephole to keep an eye on hell :P

Are the clouds handpainted from scratch or texturetweaks? =)
Anyhow u got to teach me how to make them! Awesome! :P
