View Full Version : render passes and mia_material_x color

Did anybody knows why if i use a mia_material_x shader y get a black hole in the difusseMaterialColor pass?? if i use a phong or lambert shader i get the correct color in the color pass but not if i use mia_material_x or mia_material_x_passes.
i have get the correct color if i conect a lambert material to the color slot of the mia_meterial, but then the shadows are wrong.

mia_material_x_passes aren't fully supported by render passes in 2009. Actually if you need a color buffer for the passes shaders you need to connect them to a writeToColorBuffer node: but be aware because these nodes slow downs the rendering times considerably if you have a lot of shaders.
