here the start of a model i'm making of the ford focus. blueprints courtesy of suurland.com.
any feedback welcome and appreciated.

using cinema 8, texture is only meant to make the form clearer.

lookin pretty cool so far, wireframe would be good to be able to crit better though.
and i also love it cause i am driving a focus in real life. :D

anyone know a good way of getting a wireframe render without using the render as editor option? i.e. without grids etc.

go into render settings and choose cel renderer
Select outline and edges, play with the colours to your desire and render

nice lets see that wire there is also a way to do it with peranders UV plugins

alright, here's a little more work on the car doors and window frames. still need adjustments. reckon the roof is next.

look at this plug ins called: WireShader

is not a real wireframe render but results are really fine.

finally got around to doing some more work on this. not nearly finished yet though. the panels still need tweaking, details need work and the interior has to be modelled.

Looks pretty damn good! Some minor issues with smoothness - but I guess that's all just tweaking and ironing. Are you going to texture this as the real WRC?

The Car looks great!!!!!
The only thing i see wrong is the wheels, they look like thier off a truck might wanna change em to look more sporty.

otherwise looking good!

pretty darn good just get to texturing already. I,.e lets see something other than the basic bhodi here :).
