using 3ds max 5

im making a bed, with a blanket and pillows.

now i want to texture them.. and let them look 100% real.

but i cant really get the cloth right.. does someone know the settings

im using oren nayar shader now..

and its got to be for a GI scene.. so cant use brazil shaders i think

Your best bet is to take a digi-cam and take photos of some pillowsheets.

A general idea with materials such as cloth is that they catch light differently depending on the angle of the surface in relation to the light source and your eye position. Try using Falloff, to simulate this effect when the fibers of a bed sheet or piece of cloth are viewed from an acute angle of incidence (almost parallel) they will catch the light differently than when the surface of cloth is viewed perpendicularily. I hope that helps.
