View Full Version : Bug of Sprite shader?

However, a black frame is Rendering like a picture .
Why is it?
Render Tree is simple.
Use nodes is Image*1,Phong*1,Sprite*1,Material.
Image > Sprite,Matte
Image > Phong,Diffuse > Material,Photon
Phong> Sprite,Input > Material,Surface&Shadow
XSI build version : 3.01.2002.1127
Xeon 2.66*2
NVIDIA Quadro4 900 XGL
I need your help well.

It does not generate,
when Shadows of all Lights in a scene is Off.

off the top of my head..
try to disconnect phong from the shadow input and connect the sprite shader there.

Hi ThE_JacO!
Thank you for replying.
Sprite shader connected Shadow input.
New Phong and new Sprite were reconnected.
Reboot XSI and WindowsXP.
But, it does not disappear.
I think that this has appeared in raster space.
Therefore, I thought that this was the bug of RayTracing or MentalRay.

I think 2 points.
1. Light and Normal are 90 degrees or more.
2.The shadow is cast over itself.
Since it becomes suddenly, it cannot reproduce the scene.
