here's an odd little character i came up with just messing around this morning... still a work in progress... i might just scrap it, as i don't feel much attachment to it. plus, i think i gave him a really high polycount, although i'm not sure what is high and not... is 4752 too many for a character such as this?
any suggestions and whatnot?

I'm no expert, but that does sound like a pretty high poly count. Unless you need them for deformations. Can you tell us any more about what you were thinking as far as mobility or how this guy acts? It might be easier to critique the model if I knew where it was supposed to bend/roll/whatever. Kind of reminds me of a pencil.

see, he drives around either on 3 wheels with his face facing the sky, or riding on the front wheel upright like a unicycle.
His knees and frame jostle and bend to compensate for bumps in the terrain (absorb shock, whatnot)
those 2 muffler type things are his arms.
I'm not sure, I put about 2 seconds of thought into this character.
