Arg, this has been killing me for a while. Is there any way to rescale an object after it has been animated? I need to scale our ATAT down to about 1/10 what it is in max right now but whenever I do the bones get screwed. I've tried exporting it to a 3ds but then the bones become unattached and the animation is ruined :scream: . Anyone have some tips for scaling boned and animated objects?

You could try the Rescale World Units utility (i think that's what its called, don't have max open right now).

Then save the file and merge it into a new scene.

I'm using Character Studio but it should be same. I'm using Rescale World Units but with bones selected, not the whole figure.

Hrm..the legs on the atat are getting screwed up, but it looks like everything else is fine when I shrink it. I just realized that the guy who animated it has all of the legs attached together and is using a physique modifier on it to animated it. Any ideas on how I can get the legs seperate but still animated or shrink them?
