So I'm building my first workstation from scratch and I was wondering if the setup I have so far is decent enough. The programs I will be using are as follows:
Photoshop CS4
3dMax 09 64bit
MudBox 09
After Effects CS4
My budget is $1000, although I'm willing to go a little higher. So far this is what I have in my cart ready for purchase. Only thing missing is my Monitor.

Again what is missing is the monitor. I found an Acer for around $169.99. Im just a bit over my budget by maybe $120. I'm a little uncertain about the graphics card. I wanted to get a Quadro since I was using Mudbox but I'm uncertain if that one is acceptable. Also, could opt for a Geforce, which I know is used mainly for gaming. Has anyone run into any issues using the Geforce. I wanted to get XP Pro to free up some of the memory but I found it a little more expensive than Vista SP1. I think those were my only main concerns. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
