A concept I had a while back (althought it's probably already been done... I didn't steal the idea, I swear!) Still in progress, wondering how to do eyelashes... Any suggestions?

eeek.. that is some disturbing pic, but clever idea :)
If you do eyelashes the "mouth" feeling will disappear.. now it is both eye and mouth :)

Well, I'm going for an eye eating a lollypop, not an eye-mouth. But I am also thinking of shaping the eye more around the lollypop, so that it looks like it's actually sucking on it, rather than just sitting there, jabbed into the eye...
btw, I'm thinking of using this for my icon, so it will be reduced down.

You might want to put a tearduct in there too, like other people have said it looks a little too much like a mouth at the moment but a tearduct and eyelashes will look great.
I like the concept.
I agree that maybe some eyelashes would really kick it up a notch. Especially if they were stuck to the lollypop.........pretty disturbing. Yet, very cool.

There's a great eyelashes tutorial at this address:

Ok, added lashes (Zarkos, that is a nice tut, but I'm working in C4D, but it inspired me on how to do them myself :D so, thx). This is the raw rendering, and now I believe it's time to put Photoshop to work to touch it up a bit.

ok.. now it looks more eye than mouth :)
The eyelid looks a bit thick. It needs something....maybe a small wrinkle or two would do the trick?
and yep it is now even more disturbing... :)

Cool idea
You've got some problems with stretching textures, particularly in the area where the lashes are attached, and at very lowest part of the image.
The eyelids look a bit too simple or smooth. It would benefit greatly if you didn't rely on the texture too much - try to model some creases and wrinkles (or maybe crank up the subdivisions and add a displacementmap)
You could improve the lighting a bit as well to bring out some gloss on the candy itself, making it look wet and just recently licked.

Yeah, I kinda figured the idea was already done before...
Man, that happy tree friends is crazy! Great animation.
Thanks to everyone who commented. I'll see what I can do to fix the texture distortion and make the model more defined.

You should model a simple filtrum (a part of the up to the upper lip).

Well, I added some wrinkles and creases to the model, then took it into photoshop and messed with it, added the eyebrow and nose line crease from a referance photo and added some drips to the lollypop.
So I think it's ready to go on my icon, no?
