View Full Version : Extreme Enviorment Vehicle
brianellebracht 06-23-2003, 08:25 PM Hey guys, I am making this for a Challenge. It is made for an extreme Ice Enviorment. I haven't posted anything in awhile, so I thought that I would show you where I am at now with the project, I will be finnished in a few days with Textures (hopefully). I wanted to ad a few more things to the model, but as of right now it is using 1.1 gb of ram to render! if I ad much of anything, I get fatal error, becaues it uses to much ram.. Still working on that issue... THanks,
Brian
BTW this is the low poly version, I modeled it so that the body could be converted to Subd's, but due to memory issues, I may not be able to.
C&C would be nice

Hey nice guess :) I know in a real world this would be not a good idea because of weight ect... But I thought that it was a cool idea for fun. but yeah, there is hot water running thru the pipes... I am working on textures right now...

Looks great! I like the horizontal slits for windows. The plumbing on the hood looks over done though. It also looks fragile - I think it should be protected by a modified hood.
very nice, though how do you get in? o.o

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, I agree about the hood.. Still trying to work on that? How do you get in?? Well there is a door, but I'm not sure if you can see it. I know you can see the expansion joints between the door and the front fender so that it can open. and there are no pipes behind the door, where it is near the back fender. Hopefully that will help. its the with as the first window on the side. Thanks!

Brian open it and show us, should be very interesting :)
Also you could get in from the rear of the vehicle.

I can't open it yet, because I don't have joints set up in the expansion joints to show it. but When I get to that, i will. but they do make expansion joints like that. We use them all the time here at work. :)
