Excellent work, I love how colorful it is, as opposite to many pictures depicting the same subject which are quite dull. It's a refreshing take on this subject. Well done !
The only thing that bothers me is the big dark brown stone/box (?) on the lower right part, it looks a bit plastic and not as realistic as the other parts of the painting.
Very well done otherwise !

I'm curious about several things. One why did you chose the color and lighting, this seems a serious piece where the color seems overly vibrant for something of a more serious nature and I'm having trouble relating to something that seems a little off putting. Second the perspective on the box is slightly bothering, especially the left bottom corner...
However, I like the attention to detail in certain areas, push it a bit more add some charring on the rubble behind them as if it were freshly shot. just an idea though, and it remains up to you to add it if you care.
The rendering on the guys though looks very very nice!

Martin,
Outstanding work you've got here. You have a great sense of warm and cool colors. You seem to have a firm grasp on fabric and how it contours to the figure. I am slightly put off by the areas of magenta in the pant legs and a bit in the shadows. Perhaps limit your color palette a little. The portrait you did of the figure sitting, and your painting "Something", along with this seem to be your best works.
Keep up the great work!
