hey great work man, I love that film and especially the Mangalores.
Awsome texturing, but the eyes looks a bit dull, but as I search for a reference pic, I see the eyes are like you made them  ;)

That is really looking great. I would pull in the chin a bit more. Make the lips a bit fuller, more puffy looking. Add a few more wrinkles along the upper forehead and you are good to go. Let's see the textures now :D
BTW...5th element rocks hard! Luc Besson is a god among men ;)
Astonishing like aways dude!
Your models rocks all the way!
Great skills and texturing... i Would go to more reflexes on the eyes thought!!!
A GRADE!!!

Only complaint I have is that the chin is a bit too clean on your model. The reference pic has a huge bum chin.

awesome modelling,
but maybe too shaven, clean and symmetric,
dom
My only crit is that the details, creases and whatnot, dont seem to be "deep" enough. In the referense pic that Dreamwave posted, they seem to be more "deep" and give more of a realistic impression.
oh yeah and also that metal collar thing, it should be more dirty.
I think you should model a complete Mangalore! If for nothingelse than to have an excuse to watch 5th Element all day long ;)

love the shape, and I think if the expression was more photorealistic, the character would be more alive.

Definetly 5th Element!
Couple comments: - Try to model subtle diferences with the left and right side of the head. Looks too mirrored. Perhaps lower one of the ears slightly, adjust the eyes or mouth too. This may make him more believable since no one's face is symetrical.
Keep it up!

But if you take a look at his jaw you can see that is is to smooth compare with the original character.

By the way!
I really love the textures of his armour like clothing! cool
Hiya,
Great work, great movie!
Some critics though... ;)
It's a great work, but I feel this mangalor is a SHE and not a warrior... oh, cutie! :D
I think the skin is too shiny, not that bumpy as we seen in the movie. And one more important (to me, at least): I think the colour should be more grayish. See?

Keep it up!

Its a great looking model, but you should model the eyebrows a bit more i.e. making the bumps on them more defined, its the same with the lips. and darken the eyes alot more you'll get better results(not that the resultS are not good now) . other than that... its great progress.

nice model and rendering, but on 5th element conceptual part how do these things inhaleoxygen or whatever they would intake ...no nostrils, gills, etc
just curious hehe
Harika model.
kusur bulmak neyime. hayran hayran bakmakla yetiniyorum.

cool model, and very well executed, but..
the eyes seem to have a bumpmap assigned to them, right in front of the lens. perhaps it's just the render, but it does look funny I think.
Apart from that, great!

Now, go and comp that into a photography or still from the movie.
Just put him into a group of mangalores in the still and let us see hwo well it fits with his mates :D !

Nice. I agree with one of the previous posters though, and would suggest a little more modeled details and rely less on the bump maps round the eye brows and lips. Alternatively a displacement map could do the trick.

This is hot... I remember these creatures from "The Fifth Element" but my only suggestion would be to make the skin more wrinkled... Otherwise its a great job... Cheers to you... I hope to be this good some day.
