CGTalk - hijacking to ui

I'm trying to make hijacking coffe-script to ui. For example, can i add customdata gui to composting tag for addition of individual reflection(RDATA_RAYDEPTH, RDATA_REFLECTIONDEPTH)?

I think that can only be done by altering the res file. May be fine for awhile, but is possible that an application update would overwrite it.

If you figure out another way, I'd love to know how. Good luck with it!
