Our small team at Triumph Studio's has completed a new chapter in the series of "Age of Wonders" games.

Age of Wonder: ShadowMagic (http://www.ageofwonders.com)

Although the team is realy small (only 2 fulltime 3D, 2 part-time interns) we've completed everything within the time we had...which means we don't get fired for screwing up..:)

Mao and I did the big/long intro and ending animation.

Mao modelled the characters, I did lighting/background modeling (and some modifications to the in-game models such as rigging/facial animation setup) and animation/compositing.

Our (part-time) interns Bjorn and Niel made a great amount of cutscenes (animation that play before/after completing a level in the game) together with Mao and I.
Bjorn also painted some wonderfull 2D art that we used for backgrounds in a lot of 3D animations.

I've edited a game-trailer, which shows a few shots for the animated segments (we made a total of about 12 minutes of animation in 6 months)
In a few months time I hope to be able to show more, but for now this is all we're allowed to show online..

Small size - 5MB (http://aow2.godgames.com/shadowmagic/downloads/aowsmtrailer-lowres.zip )

Big size - 14MB (http://aow2.godgames.com/shadowmagic/downloads/aowsmtrailer-hires.zip)

Hope you like it...

When will the game come out?
I especially liked the zoom in on the tower and the monsters with the glowing eyes.
Awesome!

When will the game come out?

We're not sure, but it's probably around July/August (depending on where you live)
