Hey Friends,

I was wondering if I could get a few ideas for a scientific animation I'm working on. I'm a Computer Engineer by trade, and my artistic abilities are a step above nil. However, I love math, and think a few concepts could be illuminated using computer animation.

I have access to After Effects in the lab, and am actually using Apple Keynote as a make-shift compositor on my laptop.

For my first animation, I'd like to show the concepts behind Fourier Transforms. I'm generating PNG sequences using Mathematica/Matlab and would like to stitch them together in a compelling way. Here's what I've got so far, could you please share some ideas, give me some pointers to help illustrate things better?

Looks good. It would be helpful if you could display the process in reverse.
A looping version would also be nice.
Do let Mathimatica know what you're working on. They're most helpful, and always interested in their applications finding use out in the "real world."
