Well, I decided to go headlong against one of the guys on my site in the modeling competition at SMCars Bluprints Forum (http://smcars.nd4spdworld.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3019&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=40" target="_blank). However, something happend to the forum, so no one could complete competition... sigh... I guess no one will ever know who one.... I decided to build a 1948 Chevrolet Aerosedan.... Yeah, I know what you are thinking... WHY??? Everyone else was building super cars, fast new things... Why oh why would I build a post war piece of crap... Well.. the answer lies in something very simple.... I didnt want to be stuck with another ubercar.... Vipers are nice, building and racing them are fun... yeah, I agree, but how bout getting this puppy in a game... Wouldn't that be sweet??? Well your right, no it wouldn't but it doesn't make it any less playable...
This is a Multi game car, initially designed to go into GTA3, I built a multi color map, like most GTA cars... And... Used that map to make a Carmageddon setup... So I can get it into TDR. So Hurah for the home team... Maybe I wouldn't have one, but the car is technically sound. It has a stock chassis, complete with engine and details. The chrome is painted... but that is ok, since it doesnt come off anyways... The fenders will come off, as well as the hood, bumpers, grill, trunk and doors, so it will be fun to look at in the end.
Polycount: 6441 for GTA3
probably knock off about a hundred or so for TDR as it has some problems with vert clumps in the front end.
