View Full Version : Creature :: Bablistulsar (crab)
HausFly 06-23-2003, 04:04 AM This is a creature called "Bablistulsar" that I modeled for my demo reel. Modeled in 3DS Max 5 and textured in Photoshop.
The creature was designed by Teerawat Palanitisena (a concept artist at my school).

Wow, great model! I would personally make the fish bowl a little clearer, I couldn't tell what was in it till I saw the concept sketch. But other than that, very very nice!

I agree with the fish bowl comment, and if you animate that moving, with water and a fish in that fish bowl, the splashing and moving affects of that water will be a site to see
Pretty Cool. I love those swirls on the creature's claws. The mesh looks clean too.

When you make it big, remember the small guys!

Hi!
great model, Like the others, I agree with the fish bowl comment. Maybe make the water a lighter shade of blue or the fish a brighter colour.
You should definitely work in the swirls on the designers sketch into the body of your character. I believe that adding the swirls and a subtle bump/displacement map to bring out the shell surface will image your image 1000 times,
