As I'm still trying to decide which software to go with (mud or zbrush) I have questions.
The first thing I'm going to be interested in with zbrush is attempting to create a photorealistic female model. I'm not expecting to be an expert user in a week or anything but thats what I'm wanting to do as a project.
Has anyone tried this thing from escape studios?
http://www.escapestudios.com/en_GB/training/online-courses/online-zbrush-course.html
It doesn't seem to go in depth of what it teaches and I'm wondering if it will cover what I want from the fundamentals of the program, to either building the basic mesh in zb or importing it from maya, then sculpting, texturing and rendering. Basically everything I guess...LOL. Is this a suggested route for that or is gnomon or what?
If I go with this "course" then would that qualify me for a student version since I'm not working for any company or getting paid for my works? Is there any missing features or watermarks etc in that version?
Thanks!
