A concept car that I designed from years ago. Brought it back and shined it up. Modeled in Maya, Lots of photoshop on this one.

Nice technique; both illustrative and stylish at the same time! Any change you'll do a photo-style render for us?

Hey guy

Stop it! It is always the usual concept car identical to many many many others :scream: .

And it is not of the better quality. I've seen frankly much better stuff.

Change work... it's better!

There's no stylish, nor illustrative here. Stop it. It's better.

The style of the illustration isn't as much of a problem as the style of the car. When you say concept car, it drums up visions of what will be on the road in 5 years or so. This reminds more of a concept car from 1985, than a concept car from 2009. If you are simply practicing style, then choose a concept car from this years auto show to start practicing on, and learn from there. If you are practicing design, then my initial feeling is that you need to attend a few years of design school to start to recognize details, and lines.

...and if you've seen the Dodge Magnum on the road today, then you'll understand why. Or the Caliber. Or any of Chrysler's vehicles, or the newer Mustangs, or the new GT-R even.

Why is it the new posters are always so full of scorn? Because without it, they wouldn't be decent critics.

My critique just happens to differ. I think it's a great design, and a wonderfully rendered illustration. I see Magnums every day here, and think this is a very, very forward-thinking-style for that genre of car. Design school isn't necessary to make a good design at all, unless you initially are horrible at design and need to learn how to do it from scratch. A wonderful car mechanic would know more about auto design than the best design-school graduate on Earth.

Hello KeithManga,

as a Person with such high Quality renderings on your Portfolio..UPPPSSS, THERE IS NOTHING you show here!

So whats your problem?
Why is just lala-blabla coming out of your Mouth?

Who the f...k died and left you in charge?

I always get mad if people, which are not even able to render a simple cube, talking other peoples work down.
Think about it!!!

And by the way, GREAT WORK, clodhopper.
Nice colors and nice style.

So my friend, i had some time to look thru your comments you already posted, can be seen here...

Now tell me, why are you telling me to respect the terms of use for this forum if you dont care about what you write?!

Your postings are very disrespectfull and might hurt the artists very much.

A little example from your heroic writtings...

And who is"us"? do you have a multiple personality problem?

Even the greatest car-designers, 3d artists would never give such crits like you do.
I am really sick of people like you, travelling thru forums and writing weird and stupid stuff like you do!

Its always ok to give crits if there is a certain background, but the crits should be constructive and not destructive.

@clodhopper, sorry for highjacking your thread, i apologize for that.
