View Full Version : Vray users.rare render spots.
Hi all,
anyone know why these little yellow spots appears in my image.
I used 3d Max5 and Vray render with GI activated.

well I am not sure about that... but I get messy things wit my models of a room in vray... but from what someone told me.. u should try using photon mapping or something... altho the shit comes out the same so I donno man... or try changing ur lighting from whatever u are using.... only thing I can come up wit is its a GI issue... as in the same thing that happens in brazil wit GI issues when u dont do them properly.... anyway just mess around and see what happens...

It would be helpful if you could post some of your vray settings too.
Using vray some time ago, I stumped into some white and black splotches. Sometimes the solution was to restart the computer, but some problems only disappeared when upgrading to a newer version.
I never did get any information why it happened..... it just did!
Try posting in the vray forum!
Check that your objects have proper mapping coordinates, and check the apply crop option for all your bitmaps.

damn I was gonna say that.... I saw something from there I printed out and finally got around to seeing this post again... ohh well good job 3gz
