When it's a toy car it's good indeed, but for a real car render the DoF is way too strong.
For example half the amount of DoF in your second image would be enough.
Beside that critique I like your model, it's very clean and material for the ground
is interesting, well done! 4*s

The reflections on the car body and windows look great, but the dof is too heavy and the rims look like youve just slapped on a standard chrome shader without any adjustement.

Nice work but just because you CAN do DOF doesnt mean its going to make your image better. To be honest it pretty much ruins what could of been nice car renders. Please post some examples without it.

I kind of like it. Unusual colouring already makes it more appealing. I agree about the depth of field though. But still every solid work! :)

It looks real, but I don't know why this phenomena happens sometimes, but it looks like a toy car.

It looks like a toy car becase there is too much DOF in the image. Even the ones with less DOF it is still too much. Shots like that shouldnt have any DOF in them.

Hi
your works are very good William Elliott
I was mean this style from this image . it is close to be real car and same time give you feel that is a toy car. I named this work (car render )for this reason

The modeling is look good, but the lighting and rendering are not.You can make the output more realistic....Try some adjustments.

Very nice model. I think you could have spent a bit more time tweaking the MR car paint shader, but it's still better than what I see most of the time. As for the DOF, don't make it less, make it disappear completely. It's nice to have to add drama to an image, but when you want it to be real, it makes you feel like you've been punched in the head before viewing. I don't want it to seem like I think you did a poor job, I think it looks great, but I feel that no project is ever complete. This is just what I see that you have left to do.
