View Full Version : Damn Max Particles - Dust Kick up?
Hi, everyone, I'm doing a project where a plane shoots up the ground, but I am getting fustrated with max's crappy particle abilities. Can anyone help resolve how to do this? I have Cebas freepyro as well to try and get more realistic fx - but still no joy!
Thanx in advance.

download the realflow demo at http://www.nextlimit.com
this particle system is great, lot of control and it is more real because it is based on CFD calculations.

yea realflow kicks some ass but it's a little confusing and time consuming
Yeah, I've played with this before, think I'll give it another shot, it does a lot of visual fx straight from the bucket so to speak. Takes time to pre-calculate though!

Fast, easy particles and a lot of control with a low investment and easy learning curve would be particle studio.
here is a quick test just to see what I did after a few hours and full understanding of the system. Not to slow either :)
