oh! and you could also start by saying "model a character" and not "draw a character" ;)

If you want to learn to draw concept art, to use as image planes to modell after, I suggest checking out the free online class on concept design over at www.masteringunreal.com . There you will find free video tutorials for concept design. The videos can also be downloaded from www.3dbuzz.com .

If you know absolutely nothing about 3D and modelling, I would suggest that you take some classes (perhaps online, since you are in Egypt), or buy some books on the subject.

There is no Lightwave specific content at 3dbuzz. At least not yet. The video tutorials are all free and most of the expenses that the site has, is covered by the owner (Jason Busby) as well as member and company sponsors. Most of the big 3d software developers are company sponsors. Newtek is not. While Buzz tries to respond to what people would like to see tutorials for, he has to give preference to the products of his sponsors.

There is a lightwave VTM (video training module) in planning, but it's hard to say when it will be available.

However there's lots of stuff to learn anyway. Most of the things teached regarding modelling and animation can be applied to Lightwave, regardless of what application Buzz is using. There is also the Concept art online course that teaches drawing. And of course a lot about moding for Unreal and Unreal Tournament 2003.
