Cinema 4D is a very good application. Generally under-rated, though its not...the application is used in tv, film and other forms of advertising. The user interface, is fully customisable and allows you to save different layouts (perhaps one fine tuned for modeling and one for rigging a character?)

The toolset is superb and maxon really listens to thier user base, supporting more and more in each realise. They give thier clients what they want and thier customer support is great. They have great student version deals.

The application is very stable and has been around a long time winning many awards and accredidations. www.maxon.net lists a lot of them. It is cross platform compatible (both mac and pc versions) and....um....ROCKS! i have tried a demo of max, checked out lightwave 7.0 and cinema is my favorite still. Everything is where it should be and its interface doesnt lose you when you open it. I am not well veresed enough to give you a proper run down, a mod (and many other great community members) could do a better job than me. These are just a few of the great selling points

Hey if you're looking to purchase Cinema 4D. I'm selling my LEGAL COMMERCIAL copy. I have the XL Bundle Version 8. It's on eBay now. I'll let you have it for $800 + Free Shipping. I'm selling it because I also have 3DSMAX 4.2 (Also legal) and want to purchase the upgrade.

Cheers,

Still remember to look on ebay dude. Just get the authorization form for liscense transfer filled out by maxon prior to paying any money.

would suck to get a warex hacked version that you had to pay for.

Ohh yeah cinema rocks.
