Hi I was wondering how to make a crossfade for two transparant layers (steam in this case). I saw someone had the same problem before: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=10&t=312667&highlight=opacity but no real solution was given here.
I know what causes the problem, all adobe products use Zeno Paradox like blending. It does'nt work linear, so 50% opacity + 50 opacity isnt 100% but 91.25 %
Does anyone know how to get a perfect crossfade without things getting darker and/or lighter?
