Can some1 help me with this problem in vray. As you can see.. i am rendering a teapot on a background image with a shadow and reflection.. everything appears to be normal but the plane is reflecting light from where it shouldnt...as you can clearly see the borders of the plane.

So what i want to know is, is there a way to make him reflect the teapot only and not the light overall?
Any help would be really apreciated.

Not sure right now to get the tepot to reflect only, but why not just render the teport with reflections out in one pass, and then comp it in photoshop with the bagground after?

that way you can easily paint away the plane reflections i guess.

Thx for the reply thomaskc.
That would be a solution, but i want to use this technique for an animation. So what you said would be an extremly tedious task. I find it weird that he reflects the hole plane.. I'm sure i'm not the first person to use reflection + compositing in vray.
