Here are my first sketches and I made the color marker one to see how the fire would look as wings.

I plan to put it together with photos in photoshop and maybe ad some 3D where needed.

The idea I have is of a steam train rearing of the track high into the air with giant wings of fire so that it looks like a phoenix.
