 i 've been working on my latest character which is a kind of crusader-sun-demon-slayer.
so since i didn't want to have cloth simulations for everything she wears i decided to simulate her "hood" once and then transform it with an FFD space warp which:
around her shoulders is steady, and around her neck is linked with a link x-from modifier to the biped head. that seemed to work fine until the biped moved vertically in wich case the lower part of the ffd (the whole ffd is linked to the neck of the bip) remained where it should (shoulders) but the higher part left us and was floating aroung 2 meters above her head?
has anyone encountered something like this before? is there a solution or another way to do such a modification?
please help! http://users.forthnet.gr/ath/akaraklis/bip.jpg

Put a dummy bewteen the FFD and the biped part. Linking objects directly to a bip object can often give strange results like this.

thanks for the help, but i tried it (all possible combinations with dummies) and it didn't work

i'm thinking about giving it a physique of it's own

Can you post a test animation?
